RE: gEDA-dev: Roadmap for next release
Hi Peter and all,
I took up the challenge of trying to add a desription (attribute) label
to the symbol chooser dialog in gschem.
While I'm struggling with this piece of code (x_preview.[c/h] and
x_compselect.c), I could also try to add several other atributes.
If somebody on the list happens to have a short list hanging around,
with which attributes to be added, please put it on the list.
Otherwise we probably would have to do a Request For Votes before I
start changing more of the dialog code (->Plan->Do->Check->Act-> = PDCA
circle).
If this is taking up to much "real estate" in the dialog I wil try to
make it expand/collapse as was suggested in the SF tracker.
I'm new to coding gtk, so bear with me if this will take quite some of
my spare (quality) time.
The feature has not been assigned to someone yet.
If someone with greater knowledge of gtk and above named files is to
participate in this exercise as a back up for newby questions please
step forward :-)
