Hi Tomaz and list,

Would you (or anybody on the list) know where the mime-database lives on
a Fedora Core 5 system.

Rrunning "update-mime-database /usr/local/share/mime" will not work as
there is no mime-database in /usr/local/share/mime (dir does not exist).

Any help appreciated.
