Good timing on your response, I was just about to send out an e-mail 
with that suggestion. Are you going to build the footprint finder to be 
the same code for both PCB and GSchem? It'd be really nice to see it 
updated in one place.

As far as the good/unverified/bad colouring, you could add a smaller 
text label with those three words and change their colour. You still get 
the colour advantage for most people, but it is still accessible to the 
colourblind. Where to fit that label in, however, is a another question...

I also like the net highlighting idea. Would be even better if it will 
work across all gschem windows. Then it'd be easy to confirm your nets 
travel across pages.
