* In the time that this thread has existed, several improvements to the
  code could have already been made.  Less talk, more coding. :)

* If I rejected code/contributions that I didn't think were completely
  100% perfect, I would be a very lonely developer (or at least the
  number of contributers would be much smaller).  Any contribution is
  quite welcome, even if it isn't perfect.  Software is allowed to be
  improved via iteration, especially in an all volunteer, organic project
  like gEDA.

* Also remember, the most important thing is the code, so if you
  have something that you would like to fix, by all means, please do so
  (always post to geda-dev first if the change is non-trivial).

I think everybody has made their respective points, so please let
this thread die (or continue it in private :), or better yet, fix the
offending code.  Thanks,
