gEDA-dev: gschem's component place change in behavior.

Hi,

There's a change in gschem behavior that I don't understand (in CVS now).

* If I bring up the component place dialog box and click and select
  a component, move the mouse to the main display, I get an outline of
  a component that I can place (and I can keep placing all I want with
  the outline).  Great.

* Now if I hit the right mouse button (to cancel), it cancels placing
  component the current component.  Great.

* However, now if I leave the component select window open, I am still 
  able to place components?  And there isn't an outline, until I click 
  in the main window.  This seems odd to me.  

* Also, if I press escape or right click, that doesn't cancel this mode
  and put me back into select mode.  In fact, I can't seem to escape the
  component place mode easily.

IMHO, the whole point of leaving the component selection dialog box open
was so that I can go back to it and continue adding the same component
or a different component at a later time, not to keep me in the component
place mode.

Is this what other people expect?  Thanks,
