I've heard and read that git doesn't deal "well" with binary files
(it simply keeps copies instead of diffs), it in essense deals with
them the way CVS did/does (correct me if I'm wrong). I had looked
into Subversion/SVN, which seems to do a great job on binary files,
in order to replace the horid 'Synchronicity' tool.
