gEDA-dev: Next gEDA release?

Folks,

Any ideas about our schedule for a new release of gEDA?  It seems that
a lot of improvements have been made in the code base in a nuber of
projects, so it may be time to think about a new release.  I think not
only of gEDA/gaf, but also of PCB, gerbv, gnucap, and so on.

Related question:  Is PCB's GTK HID in a decent enough shape to have a
release to the masses?  Based upon the complaints I have read here, I
am wondering.....

I'm kind of thinking that I could spin another gEDA CD, since there
have been a (small) handful of requests for it, and I'll have some
time between Christmas and New Years when I can fool around with
developing software.  To do so, however, it is important to know which
versions of the various tools are the last "known working" releases.

Thoughts?
