For file-type icons, we can look them up from the gtk icon theme. They
follow the naming convention of the mime-type, e.g.:
application-x-excellon
application-x-geda-gsch2pcb-project
application-x-geda-schematic
application-x-geda-symbol
application-x-gerber
application-x-pcb-footprint
application-x-pcb-layout
application-x-pcb-netlist
Take a look at the API: gtk_icon_theme_lookup_icon ()
