I was having a second look at this and tried a relative path which
resulted in this message,

Can't scan directory
   'd:\program files\geda\bin\..\share\pcb\pcblib-newlib:../../../Projects/footprints/trunk'

I am guessing that PCB builds a delimited list of libraries to search
through, but the Windows build thinks that colons are directory
related.

Is there a better place to report any bugs, or is here fine?
