Package: gEDA-gschem
Version: 20010722-3
Severity: important
When editing and saving symbols, junk seems to appear in the .sym file,
making other programs, like gschem2pcb, fail silently. It is difficult
to know exactly when this jumk appears, but I seem to be able to prevent
it happening by always loading gschem fresh, making a new symbol from
scratch, saving, and then exiting.
Some typical junk looks like this:
v 20010722
T 3250 -3150 5 10 0 0 0 0
device=MAX1011
T -3100 -2100 5 10 0 0 0 0
device=OSC
T -2700 -2700 5 10 0 0 0 0
device=OSC
T -1450 -4250 5 10 0 1 0 0
device=HEADER18
I believe that these lines are not supposed to be in the file.
many thanks
Hugo Elias
