If you want to add it to geda-utils this would be ok to me.

BTW: At the moment I'm planing to write a conversion utility for eagle 
symbols (www.cadsoft.de). After I've found out the copyrights of the 
symbols I will start doing that. Many of the symbols in their download 
section are provided by volunteers. I hope we can use this symbols.
