Well, I have just checked it in. I will address any reported
problem. And if anything goes wrong before the release, it can be
easily removed: the changes, x_multiattrib.nw excepted, are limited to
one call in o_misc.nw.

So people, please test and send bug report or improvment ideas.

And it does compile and work fine with GTK 2.2.
