Thanks, Hamish.  I did indeed choose a non-standard
install path.  Wasn't aware that there was a "dh_install"
command in the auto* scripts, though. Is there a man page
about it somehwere?

Forgot to mention that I installed from a tarball, to an
FC-1 system.
