I have been using Postgres for four or five years. I am not sure that Firebird
was around back then. Interbase was but I believe that was Borland, Windows
and not free.

Unfortunately the shaded circles do not communicate details. It would
be interesting
to know specifics.

Since I do not have issues with Postgres and have used it for a number of
applications I probably would not switch now.
