The diagram shows concepts - not necessarily implementation.
I am biased towards using plain C. C++ may not have the portability
issues it once did, but I expect is easier to wrap C code arbitrarily
for other languages. I'm also looking to implement this at some stage as
a continual progression from the current libgeda.
As an irrelevance.. I also prefer C - especially for libraries. If I
were writing something non-speed critical, I might use Python.
